RIAD  IBN  BATTOUTA         traveller's inspiration

700 years ago, Ibn Battouta set out from Tangier to make his pilgrimage to Mecca.  But it was 24 years later that he returned to his homeland after covering some 75 000 miles. During that time he travelled the world from Europe to Yemen, from China to Africa, from Syria to Samarkand. This great world traveller has inspired the décor at the Riad that bears his name. The exquisitely furnished suites bear witness to Ibn Battouta's destinations: blue for Samarkand, yellow for Sana'a, bronze for Damas, dramatic African brown and black for Iwalatan and Indian rose for Sindapur.

Client comments:
We've returned to the States from our whirlwind tour of Southern
Spain and Morocco and just wanted to send along a big thank you! Fez
was most definitely our favorite part of the trip and the riad was
fabulous. We would never have found it on our own, thanks so much
for all your help with travel plans, as well. I hope we can return
again soon, and we'll be contacting you again.  Rhonda Taube, San Diego, USA;  July 2006
