This is a light, bright and airy house on Tala’a Sghira, one of the main shopping streets and close to all the sights. It’s a massriya, meaning there’s an entrance hall on the ground floor, and a staircase leads up to the rest of the house. It’s convenient and comfortable, and has pretty mosaics and carved plaster.

Two bathrooms and one extra toilet
Central courtyard open to the sky (can be closed in bad weather)
Furnished roof terrace with wonderful medina views
COST: 90 Euros per night for the first couple; 20 Euros per person thereafter. Breakfast is not provided. There’s a 20 Euros surcharge over peak seasons (Christmas/New Year and the Fes Festival of World Sacred Music at the beginning of June).
