Dar Bensouda
This majestic, ancient house is right in the middle of the medina so close to all the major sites. It has a restaurant, hammam, garden and swimming pool.
Full of history, Dar Bensouda was home to the Sufi sain Sidi Ahmed Taudi Bensouda, who is buried in the zaouia (shrine) opposite the house. Graceful columns are topped with superbly crafted carved plaster and carved wood. The restoration was sensitively carried out over some years by owner Abdellatif Ait Ben Abdullah, well-known for his work in Marrakech.
